We
adopted Harley one year ago and I just wanted to send an update
to tell you he's doing so well and everyone just LOVES him.
He is so cuddly and is always climbing up on my husband's lap
while he watches TV. He is a little big to be a lap dog,
but we don't mind at all! We have a wooden park bench in our
backyard that he has claimed as his own, he loves to sit up
there on his bench with us. Harley is absolutely the perfect dog
for our family!

Hello
GDR, We've now had Layla about 6 months are enjoying her
very much. We walk all the time on our local bike trail &
run into so many people who also have rescued dogs (many from
the south) and I tell them about the very good experience we had
with our adoption. Because of Layla's jaw injury before we
rescued her, she has a very unique smile all her own!

Bella
is doing fantastic at our home. She gets along well with
our other dog and she loves the yard and enjoys taking sprints
around the entire fence line. I would like to give a BIG
thank you to the foster home as she came to us well behaved and
crate-trained. It was a true representation of how well your
organization finds people that are caring and able to watch the
dogs until they are adopted. Bella is a perfect addition to the
family and we look forward to the many years and memories we
will have with her! Shelene Tirado / Ludlow MA

Hi
GDR, Betsy is doing wonderful in our home. She follows us
around and gets excited when we come home. She loves to go
on long walks and we take her daily. Her beagle nose gets the
workout she needs! She's timid with strangers but curious,
so we are still working on her confidence. She's so pretty,
everyone just wants to pet her all the time! Thank you for
helping us find our sweet little pup! Helena Connors / Ellington

Here is a keeper picture of Shelby with one of the horses we
have on the farm. I think this picture says it all.
I've
learned that Shelby is too talented to bother with puppy
kindergarten and so she'll go right into Obedience I after
Christmas. We've been working on and off leash and she's so
smart and eager to please. We do sit and down stays, come, stay
and even with distractions. Shelby swims everyday and is good at
stick retrieving. She is an awesome pup and we love her so much!

Jake has been with us 4 months now and he's doing great! I was
so proud of him in Obedience Class. One of the "tests" was to
put your dog in a "down stay" for five minutes and Jake lasted
longer than any other dog! His first snow was hilarious,
we went out for a walk soon after the snow had begun and he was
so funny! He was gazing up at the sky with a look of wonder on
his face! The flakes were huge so that got his attention! He is
an awesome dog and so much fun. Thank you for letting us adopt
him!
