We love Sundance! What a loving sweet little angel. We're already snuggling up together on
the couch, taking some little runs in the back field, got a new chew toy. We love him sooooo much. Thank you for helping to make this wonderful new chapter in our lives possible.
Every month, dozens of our Southern Good Dogs ride the transport north to their new forever and foster homes. The USDA-licensed transport drives up every week to meet new forever and foster families at various locations along the Tennessee-New England route. Our Southern adoptions are long-distance and the dogs are taken directly home from the transport .
Prior
to adoption, all our Good Dogs receive complete vetting,
including spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines (rabies,
bordetella, distemper combo), fecal exam, testing for heartworms
and tick-related diseases (and treatment if indicated) and
prescribed monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

We adopted Spencer from GoodDogRescue in 2006. I remember how well coordinated everything was, and
chating with the foster mom, answering my many questions. Spencer is probably nearly 11 years old now. We thank you each and every day for bringing Spencer into our lives.
God Bless all the angel volunteers that have been going strong all theses years! Love!
The most adorable puppy in the world arrived Today! Toby is gorgeous! He arrived very happy and wanting to play. We are just crazy about him. My boys are on Cloud Nine! He is
so smart and well behaved! Thank you!
Shadow has settled in really well. He loves to cuddle after he runs around with his toys. We are so happy to have him in our family! Thank you, GDR, for all you do to find the right homes for the dogs that come your way.
Max
is great! He's adjusting very well to his new home. He follows our other dog, Bryce, around everywhere and they have become inseparable. Thank you so much! Kaitlyn Williams /

I adopted Dexter in 2013. He is such a sweet, smart and goofy dog and I'm so grateful to GDR for bringing us together! Here he is on his 3rd birthday. He's the king every day, but he doesn't always wear a crown. Cori Ware / Troy NY.
